It's really Wil's league so I think he should decide what we end up doing.

I have no problem with wil making the call and I'll go on record as saying I agree with Sam as I defenitly like option 4 as well - bottom two go down top two come up. This way us guys have to earn our keep in the big league and it keeps people in our league from giving up once they realize a play off spot is no longer an option. (Not saying anyone would let up but this would insure a fight till the very end) and second the new guys get to proove their worth and fight for something cool a spot in the bigs. The only drawback I see and it is minor is it may be tough to get 12 guys who are willing to start at the bottom though so in the event we don't get 12 or at least 10 we'd have to have an emergency back plan in place for the guys that want in. But I think that's the way to go!

Well if we do start a second 12 teamer "B" then all the new owners start in "B" would be my vote and in year 3 top 6 in the "B" go up and bottom 6 in "A" go down..................IMO from all of the guys that have been asking to get in there won't be a problem getting another 12 teamer. Don't think any of the potential new owners would have a problem with that.

My vote would be to stay with CBS (free means that only bragging rights are at stake-which is all that matters) and 12 owners. Add new guys as guys drop out or disappear. We started a good thing. Not sure we want to tweak it too much. Having said that, I agree that it is Will's league and I will go with whatever.
It would be nice to add Dog, TKO and Jacob though.

I agree scape with the Parcells statment. I was just talking to a buddy at work today about him. There is no doubt he did a great job while with the NY teams but I know when he got to Miami he was resting on his accomplishments. I mean we could have had Jamaal Charles who I loved at the time in the third round. 

Parcells was on vacation before, during, and after he went to Miami. I still remember the stupid hawaiian shirt he had on and the red/tan face he sported while sitting up in the press box throwing back Mi Ties. Would have loved to see Jimmy stick around longer but he was on va ca too. 

I would sure love to aquire a hungry young coach that has something to proove. Not a recycled fart of a coach that has all ready been there and done that. I would have prefered someone like Josh Mcdanials. Now I think the only good option left at this point that would do any good is chucky who I think still has a few really good miles left on him. But who knows, it's not looking good.

I realized one thing and one thing only and that would be the playoffs bring so much pressure to this guy (Packer Backer) that no way am I doing the playoff challenge again haha.  Because in the back of my mind I still can't fully enjoy the games with out getting a bit ticked over a drop ball or fumble or what not.  But at least I found out what this challenge was all about .  Anyways.


About the bringing in new guys to the MBBRL or setting up whole other 12 man league (B league).  I like just keeping it the MBBRL league as I think at least 2 guys should not be coming back into the fold so that is 2 spots and we all know how hard it is to fill spots with true talent, active, on the ball, love for the game team owners is!  So I would not water down the league by opening it to 24 owners.

I think anyone would be ok with being replaced if they don't stay on the message board or have this league as a priority somewhat during the season, I know that money isn't on the line but still its the only go to board to get high level action, topics, thoughts, ideas!!

 

Good Point Dub. But how do you know 2 guys won't be back? Or should we take it upon our selves to decide to replace a guy that has not posted much or been active on the site for a while to bring in someone who we know will be a quality replacement like dog, TKO Spikes, or jacobbartley? I really don't know if that will draw the most talent. Sounds like we will have to think about this a little more to find the best option for new and excellent posters.

Pick every game including the over under to see if you can match wits with the Foot or get stomped on by him! That's what I absolutly love about you guys. I put a challenge in front of you and your animal instinct and extream competitve nature takes over completly. A quality truley hard to find in a person and what makes our league so special! That being said, "you're still gonna lose against me!"
