Heck you didn't even play Kansas in 2007 and you actually lost to three more that you listed (Texas in 2005 and 2006 and Texas Tech in 2005). I did the research. GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT. Here is the real breakdown of those 11 teams that Sooner Shel mentions from 2004 - 2007. I'll try to make this as simple as possible for morons like Sooner Shel and Spinkiller, so they can follow along too. I didn't check the coaches poll, so we'll use end of year rankings from the AP poll:
2007:
Beat #4 Missouri
DIDN'T EVEN PLAY #7 Kansas
Beat #10 Texas
2007:
Beat #4 Missouri
DIDN'T EVEN PLAY #7 Kansas
Beat #10 Texas
You can't argue with someone who uses the hopeless point that a whole slate of AQ teams "would" have beaten Boise State. Heck, use that logic and Jennifer Aniston "would" have married me if she had only played me. How stupid to even use such would of could of should of arguments?
The trouble is that no one can either prove or disprove such speculation. And your only "proof" is this single statistic that has to use games played in 1996 in order to "prove" how good Boise was in 2011 or to specualte how good they will be next year.
Let's see, we are due for another Mt. Union comparison.
To even attempt to argue that Boise St. is by definition inferior to any AQ team is stupid beyond words. No it isn't. It is very easy to do. They are inferior to many many AQ programs in every sense of the word. Boise just gets to hide from the onslaught 11 out of 12 games every year. Pretty simple to do.
Boise's team last year was clearly in the top tier of all teams in the country. This opinion is supported almost universally by anyone with even a smidgen of unbiased analytical ability.
actually what Mt Union has done under Larry Kehres is much more impressive then what Boise has done recently
there are no athletic scholarships at the Division 3 level, yet Kehres has been able to find the best of whats left after 1-A 1-AA and D2 teams take their players and coach them up into winners to be part of a program that has been a machine at their level for the past 20 or so years
since 1986 Mt Union is 317-24-3 with 10 national titles.....complete domination of their level of play, a level with very little resources.
Ive said it time and time again osubuckeye. I think they could beat Boise 5 or 6 out of 10.
Smiles, what do we have as evidence that Boise is better than James Madison U?What proof is their that any team you mentioned could beat Boise. What proof is their that OU could beat boise. I mean Boise is 1-0 against your team after all.
What do we have as evidence that Boise is better than Montana when the last meeting btween the two teams, Montana took Boise to the Woodshed beating them by 4 touchdowns?
You have no argument Smiles.
Your team continues to hide behind the Smoke and Mirrors.

Army has scheduled a home/home with Stanford for 2013/2014.
All the more reason why we should have a game.
Hey wasnt that the same Utah team that beat TCU that year? Oh wasnt that the same TCU team that beat BSU that year? Seems like UTAH might have been a good team that year. Could be part of the reason the Utes are now a BCS team an BSU still cant decide which conf to go to.
In Salt Lake, trailing 10-6, Utah scored with 48 seconds left in the game to win 13-10. In that same year, TCU trailed Boise all game, only to score late, winning by a single point. Sounds like all three teams were head and shoulders better than Alabama that year who got blown out of the stadium by the Utes. Utah dominated in every single facet of the game, and basically sat on the ball the entire fourth quarter. So, now that you mention it, Alabama was inferior to THREE nonAQ teams that year.
Ouch!
Oh, but you still think that they don't belong, don't you?
Boise has played 13 end of year ranked teams since Chris Petersen took over in 2006. That is very, very impressive for a mid-major. Heck that's pretty impressive for some AQ teams, particularly teams from the ACC and Big East and even in some cases on par with teams from the Big 10 and Pac-12! Oh and he's beaten 9 of those 13 teams. Again not too shabby for a so-called "mid-major."
Smiles I will tell you what. This year, I would like to attend a Boise home game with you.
Of course it will have to NOT conflict with the Mighty Sooners Schedule.
But I think a Boise home game is in order.
I will even pay for your tickets, drinks and dinner.
