1. Prof. said he was A Republican which I highly doubted.
2. I googled it- knowing that it was generally private- but could be obtained by anybody- such that it wouldn't be an official site but rather-  the result of somebody going to the Registrar and paying a fee and checking.
3. I chose the wiki answer which seemed to reflect that legwork.
4. While other poltical blogs argued back and forth.  Trying to base it on quotes.
5. Just a good faith addition to the personal conversation of some knuckleheads on sports website.

You're right, that was an easy question. What he should have said was, "Yes, Mr McCain, the surge did work well as a tactic to try and clean up the monstrous mess you created by demanding we invade Iraq to begin with, which I and President Obama opposed to begin with!

I was in a meeting of high powered business executives of a major retail chain, and I kept hearing the term "Lets Mitt-Romney them"....
